[SUMMARY]:Recently, Shijiazhuang Huikang Food Co., Ltd. signed framework agreements on technological cooperation with Jiangnan University and Hebei Agricultural University.

Recently, Shijiazhuang Huikang Food Co., Ltd. signed framework agreements on technological cooperation with Jiangnan University and Hebei Agricultural University. The primary research topics under this collaboration focus on key processing technologies for frozen ready-to-eat dishes and ambient-temperature ready-to-eat dishes, with activities encompassing the commercialization of research outcomes, joint problem-solving, technical consulting, and talent development.
For many years, Shijiazhuang Huikang Food Co., Ltd. has actively pursued a path of technology-driven innovation that integrates industry, academia, and research. By collaborating with renowned domestic and international universities and research institutions, the company has achieved complementary synergy in technology and resources, thereby invigorating its innovative capacity and providing strong impetus for technological advancement and product excellence.

The School of Food Science at Jiangnan University boasts five national-level platforms, including the State Key Laboratory of Food Science and Technology—the only one in the food sector—along with the National Engineering Laboratory for Grain Fermentation Processes and Technologies and the National Research Center for Functional Food Engineering Technology. To date, the school has received a total of 19 national science and technology awards. Its Food Science and Engineering discipline was ranked first (A+) in the Ministry of Education’s national discipline assessments in 2009, 2012, and 2017, and was selected as a “Double First-Class” discipline under the national initiative in 2017.

Hebei Agricultural University is a key provincial university jointly established by the People’s Government of Hebei Province and the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. The university was selected for the first batch of the “Program for Cultivating Outstanding Agricultural and Forestry Professionals” and the “Program for Cultivating Outstanding Engineers,” and is one of the 100 institutions under the Ministry of Education’s “Project for Enhancing Basic Capabilities of Universities in Central and Western China.” It is also a university designated for Hebei Province’s “Double First-Class” initiative.
University–enterprise technological collaboration is a concrete manifestation of in-depth innovation and development. By leveraging the respective strengths of universities and enterprises, focusing on industry needs, accelerating technological innovation, capitalizing on the advantages of scientific and technological cooperation, and promoting the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, such collaborations yield tangible results. Recently, the “Skirted Scallop Five Blessings Dish,” developed by a research team at Hebei Agricultural University, was successfully commercialized through Huikang Foods.

This time, Wellcome Foods has signed framework agreements on technological cooperation with two universities, aligning academic education with market needs. By deepening collaboration between academia and industry, the company is building a comprehensive “industry–university–research” system, actively exploring new pathways for complementary strengths and joint development between enterprises and universities, jointly promoting the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, stimulating innovation and creativity to drive value creation, continuously enhancing its core competitiveness, and advancing high-quality enterprise development.
