December 1, 2018, Shijiazhuang Huikang Food Co., Ltd. The factory grounds are adorned with colorful banners and soaring balloons, marking the company’s 25th anniversary. Over these 25 years, we have weathered countless challenges and triumphs; 25 years that have painted a vivid picture of perseverance and growth. These two and a half decades have witnessed the trials of the past and upheld the promise of a bright future. To celebrate this momentous occasion, all employees of Huikang Group have gathered to jointly commemorate the 25th anniversary of Shijiazhuang Huikang Food Co., Ltd.

At 8:00 a.m., to the solemn strains of the national anthem, the Five-Star Red Flag and the Huikang Factory flag were slowly raised by the proud members of the Group’s honor guard, fluttering proudly in the breeze. Following the flag-raising ceremony, Mr. Meng Jianhong, Deputy General Manager of the company, led the employees in reciting the corporate oath, reminding each of us to stay true to our original aspirations, keep the company’s mission firmly in mind, carry forward the Huikang spirit, and work together to create a glorious future for the company.

Looking back on the past twenty-five years, we have remained steadfast in our commitment, forging ahead through countless challenges. What began as a food-processing enterprise has grown into a diversified group spanning food processing, hotel and catering, real estate development, property management, and a high-end beef restaurant chain. Grounded in quality and driven by innovation, Huikang has expanded from the ancient city of Zhengding—first establishing a presence overseas and then deepening its footprint in the Chinese market. Our rapid pace of growth and outstanding brand performance demonstrate that we are on the right path and that our future is bright.

In 2018, the Group was in a phase of comprehensive expansion and aggressive market capture, marking the dawn of its second entrepreneurial journey. Huikang focused on its “Gu Yan Foods” brand, continuously optimizing its product mix in the Asian market and achieving steady revenue growth. Domestically, the company experienced rapid, widespread expansion, with revenues doubling once again, as it intensified its push to surpass previous milestones. In April this year, Huikang Foods invested RMB 590 million to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, procuring world-class production equipment to comprehensively strengthen its food-production capacity. The company also expanded into the high-end Wagyu beef breeding, processing, and sales business, aiming to exceed RMB 1.5 billion in annual revenue within five years and secure its position as the leader in China’s frozen prepared-meals sector. Meanwhile, the hotel segment, as the flagship operator in the airport area, has consistently pursued cost reduction and efficiency improvements while elevating service standards, resulting in a substantial year-on-year revenue increase compared with 2017. The company has formulated a five-year plan to further deepen its presence in the airport tourism value chain, delivering integrated, high-quality dining, lodging, and transportation services to airport passengers, with the goal of becoming the leading hotel operator in the Shijiazhuang Airport region. Chuanghe Catering, which launched in March with its Junhe Dao Ruyi location, has expanded to four Japanese restaurants within just seven months and is now thriving, driven by a spirit of relentless progress. Leveraging brands such as Junhe Dao Barbecue, Da Ma Ju Sake Bar, and Sukiyaki Hot Pot, the company imports purebred Wagyu beef from overseas and combines premium ingredients, meticulous craftsmanship, and first-rate service to establish itself as a pioneer in China’s high-end beef market. In October this year, Oujing Yunting made a highly successful debut, attracting intense investor interest and overwhelming demand; next year, it will provide critical support for the hotel segment’s strategic breakthroughs. Construction of the seven-story villa complex is nearly complete, and next year, Jia Gang Property Management will take over operations, setting a new benchmark for the highest level of property management in the airport area. Huikang’s achievements today are inseparable from the unwavering dedication and sense of ownership demonstrated by every employee—thanks to your sincerity and reliability, Huikang has been able to buck the trend and achieve steady growth amidst fierce market competition!

Achievements and honors belong to the past; in the future, our undertaking will be even more ambitious, and of course, the challenges we face will be even greater. However, I am confident that as long as we join hands and carry forward Guided by the Huikang Spirit of “diligence in reflection, courage in innovation, willingness to take responsibility, and bold action,” we will turn every challenge into an opportunity and every difficulty into a stepping stone. Our “Huikang Dream” will ultimately come true.
