Wang Dongfeng, Secretary of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee, and Governor Xu Qin Conduct Inspection and Research Visit to Huikang Foods

On the morning of August 12, a delegation of more than 100 officials—including Wang Dongfeng, Secretary of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee; Xu Qin, Governor of Hebei Province; Ye Dongsong, Chairman of the Hebei Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Yuan Tongli, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor; Zhang Chaochao, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee; Gao Zhili, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary-General; Zhang Gujiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Tangshan Municipal Party Committee; Fan Zhaobing, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Executive Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the Hebei Provincial People’s Congress; Shi Qingshuang, Vice Governor of Hebei Province; and relevant leaders from various prefecture-level cities—paid a visit to Shijiazhuang Huikang Food Co., Ltd. for inspection and research. Wang Huijie, Chairman of Shijiazhuang Huikang Food Co., Ltd.; Li Yongxin, General Manager; and Pang Yinlong, Assistant to the Chairman, accompanied the delegation during the visit.

A delegation led by Wang Dongfeng, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Xu Qin, Governor of the Province, listened to a briefing on the development of the Huikang Food Agricultural Industrialization Consortium, toured the production process of frozen ready-to-eat dishes—from raw-material processing to finished-product packaging—and gained an in-depth understanding of the company’s operations and product-development achievements. The delegation commended Huikang Food for its leading and exemplary role within the agricultural industrialization consortium as a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization.

Following the conclusion of the field investigation, Wang Dongfeng, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, emphasized the need to accelerate the adjustment and optimization of the agricultural economic structure, industrial structure, and product mix; to concentrate resources on scaling up, strengthening, and improving key industrial parks and leading enterprises within specialized agricultural industry clusters; to provide robust support to these leading enterprises so that they can fully leverage their radiating and driving effects; to actively develop industrialized consortia; and to bolster the collective economy. He also pointed out that Huikang Foods, as a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, serves as a model for agricultural industry consortia, and urged the company to intensify its market development efforts, fully unleash its production capacity, enhance brand recognition, and expedite improvements in quality and efficiency. Furthermore, he called on relevant government departments to provide appropriate support and assistance to Huikang Foods.

Governor Xu Qin conducted a detailed inquiry into the operations of Huikang Foods, commended its frozen pre-prepared meal products, and expressed the hope that the company would accelerate its development, further enhance its role as a leading enterprise in terms of outreach and influence, expand the scale of agricultural industrialization consortia, increase the acreage under cultivation by farmers, boost farm production and incomes, enable the primary sector to share in the benefits generated by the secondary and tertiary sectors, and collectively form a sustainable and stable community of shared interests. In doing so, he emphasized the importance of promoting the healthier, more stable, and sustainable development of these consortia.
