Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Visits Huikang Foods for Inspection and Research

[SUMMARY]:On the morning of July 8, Wang Guofa, Director of the Agricultural Office of the Hebei Provincial Party Committee and Party Secretary and Director of the Hebei Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, visited Shijiazhuang Huikang Food Co., Ltd. to conduct a field study on the company’s current development status and the integration of industries. Accompanying him were Meng Zhen’an, Director of the Beautiful Countryside Division of the Hebei Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Wang Xibo, Party Secretary and Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Chen Yanliang, Deputy Party Secretary; Xue Yusheng, Deputy Director; Li Wenran, Deputy Party Secretary of Zhengding County; Huang Chao, Deputy County Magistrate; and Jia Chuliang, Party Secretary of the Zhengding County Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

Accompanying him were Meng Zhen’an, Director of the Beautiful Countryside Division of the Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Wang Xibo, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs; Chen Yanliang, Deputy Secretary; Xue Yusheng, Deputy Director; Li Wenran, Deputy Secretary of the Zhengding County Party Committee; Huang Chao, Deputy County Magistrate; and Jia Chuliang, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Zhengding County Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

Director Wang Guofa and his delegation first visited the newly commissioned administrative office building of Huikang Foods, where they listened to a briefing by Chairman Wang Huijie. They gained a thorough understanding of the company’s current development status, product features, and future plans, and carefully inquired about the challenges it is currently facing. At the same time, they expressed full appreciation and high recognition for Huikang Foods’ efforts during the pandemic.

Subsequently, the research delegation conducted a site visit to the production workshops of Huikang Food’s new factory. Bian Lixian, Assistant to the General Manager of Huikang Food, briefed the Director on the installation of equipment and the designed production capacity of the new workshop. Upon learning that, once the new plant is commissioned, all manual processes at the original facility will be replaced and the level of mechanization will be further enhanced, Director Wang Guofa emphasized that enterprises should take the lead in fully leveraging information technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and intelligent control to vigorously advance production, thereby accelerating the modernization of agriculture in our province.

Director Wang Guofa stated that Huikang Foods is a national-level key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, a national high-tech enterprise, and a provincial demonstration base for agricultural industrialization consortia. The company must accurately define its market positioning, seize the opportunities presented by the times, and ensure the steady and solid development of its flagship product lines—such as Guyan beef hide wraps, household frozen pre-made dishes, quick-frozen meal kits, and premium beef products—while cultivating distinctive features to gain broader market recognition.

Wang Huijie, Chairman of Wellcome Foods, expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the Director’s keen attention. He also pledged that, following the commissioning of Wellcome Foods’ new plant, the company will unleash greater production capacity to more fully meet market demand. Furthermore, Wellcome Foods will more effectively leverage its role as a leading enterprise to exert broader influence and drive development across the industry, thereby comprehensively elevating the level of industrialized agricultural operations and making due contributions to enriching the people and strengthening the province.
